When I met Megan & Thomas and they told me about their wedding plans I could have cried. A woodland wedding with earth tones, gold, gorgeous flowers, a cake made from cheese, and The Hideaway 201, near Winton, as their venue. Divine!
This wedding has recently featured on Magnolia Rouge which makes me so proud! It’s the first wedding I’ve sent to a blog and for Kate to pick it up and showcase my work was fabulous.

Here’s what Megan had to say:
“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile.”
Thomas and I met in a camping ground when were kids and our families became good friends. After finishing school it wasn’t until a chance meeting at a coffee shop that we rekindled and our childhood friendship became a romance. We fell in love. I love Thomas because he is quick witted, Ryan Gosling good looking, extremely hard working, and loyal. He knows me better than anyone and still loves me.
Thomas proposed to me after 6 years together on a hill that overlooked Dunedin, in Southern New Zealand, on a cold winter night. All we wanted was a fun filled day together with our friends and family. I fell in love with weddings that had an earthy feel, unstructured bouquets and metallic tones.”
