I picked up a vintage bike from a very kind lady in Invercargill and headed out to the Catlins for Freya and Bryce’s engagement photo session. The sky was dark and moody and pretty quickly it started raining. Not just that drizzle sort of a rain, but really heavy rain. I considered calling them to reschedule but, as luck would have it, there is no cell phone coverage out there. So on I went to meet these two in Owaka. I got quite wet just jumping out of the car to run over and tell them to follow me down to the beach. Then, somehow, it happened. The skies cleared, the sun came out, and we got a gorgeous sunset. Who would have thought?!

So here are their engagement photos. These two actually got married last week, but I couldn’t start a new blog without putting their engagement photos up first. Wedding photos are on the way! You can keep an eye on my facebook page for them to there appear first 🙂
