Two of the most thoughtful and kind humans tied the knot in central Christchurch this autumn, and what a day!

We need to start by taking a moment to appreciate how insanely talented Sulin is. Not only did she make their wedding cake and Luke’s bowtie, she designed and sewed her wedding dress – complete with an outer layer over a party dress for the reception. What a woman!

Sulin and Luke chose not to have a bridal party, instead focusing on each other. We headed up into the hills for some photos (check out that view!) before the ceremony which meant that after the formalities were done these two got to relax and have a drink with their favourite people.

They chose Ilex in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens for their wedding – this place has a great relaxed garden party vibe and also gives you access to the conservatories for photos.

A delicious meal, beautiful speeches, ice cream on the cone and a packed dance floor with epic party tunes rounded out the best day.
