Melissa and Jono are two of the kindest, most generous, fun-loving people you’ll find. Together they make a pretty formidable team, and a wonderful couple. And what a special day they had in rural Southland.
Mr and Mrs Dennison walked out of their ceremony to the sound of Jono’s precious father’s bagpipes, and the special touches didn’t end there: Jono’s mum made the cake and the afternoon tea, all displayed on wood cut by Jono. Melissa grew hundreds of succulents to give their guests as a gift, and they were absolutely delightful!
Thanks so much for having me along to capture your precious day, I enjoyed every single minute.

Meanwhile, the lads were carving up the driving range, with varying degrees of success. To be fair, they were far better than I would be!
The blossoms were out! Perfect timing for these two.
This was a really special moment, as a piper playing Jono’s father’s bagpipes led them out of the ceremony.
We snuck out into the gardens for a few dusky photos. I think we all had our fingers crossed for a golden sunset but as it turned out, a gloomy night was just perfect.
