Sarah and Chance – what a day.
I’ve known Sarah for a few years – we worked together in the media in Invercargill and I’ve loved following Sarah’s career since. She’s a stunning mother and baker currently residing in Melbourne and you can check out her blog Facebook page here.
There are always plenty of things that stick with me from a wedding. I spend 12 hours intimately involved in the biggest day of my couples’ lives and it really is a huge insight into everything they are about; how they live their lives, what sort of people they are, how close their families are, how much love and support they have built around them.
These two are magnificent parents and I was absolutely blown away by the time and love they put into their boys.
Sarah and Chance both, throughout the day, took time to show Finn and Leo affection, tell them how loved they are, and give them attention. The results are stunning – Finn is one of the kindest, most polite, energetic and fun wee guys I’ve met.
There were lots of words spoken during speeches about how great these two are at parenting and I concur – they are inspiring parents.
Speeches are always emotional and there were a few tears shed; there were also a lot of laughs had, as you’ll see down the bottom of this blog. Special mention needs to go to Sarah’s maid of honour, Grace, who read out a letter Sarah had written about boys when she was younger. Hilarious, a top-notch speech to get the sides aching from laughter.
Sarah and Chance, thanks so much for having me along to capture your special day, it was an honour.
