I am absolutely thrilled to share this wedding with you all. Amy & Daniel’s Invercargill wedding just before Christmas was the most gorgeous celebration of love and laughter and I enjoyed every minute with these wonderful people. Spare a thought for me today struggling to cut these photos down. Here are about 100 of my favourites!

You can see that it rained. It didn’t just rain, it poured. All day. Like, torrential rain. I was more than thankful that Daniel is a pilot; he scored us a sweet hangar to take photos in. So cool!

Over with the girls the flowers had arrived, the hair and makeup was done, and the most gorgeous dress was hanging in the conservatory for me to photograph. I love swooning over wedding dresses!

These photos melt my heart, I was trying not to tear up. One of the best moments on a wedding day is when the bride’s father gets to see her. Rex’s reaction was so absolutely gorgeous, he was so proud of his beautiful daughter.

Amy didn’t have anything borrowed so Rex tied one of his rings onto her bouquet <3

After the ceremony we headed out to Invercargill Airport. We had a whole wonderful hangar to ourselves and, after driving the cars alongside the runway and in there, no one got wet! Best photo venue ever!

Daniel is a pilot and he had organised a special plane to take photos with. Not being much of an aviator myself I can’t tell you exactly what was so special about it… Something about the tail being in the shape of a V… You can tell I’m not very knowledgable on such subjects!

I can spot a Leslea Matsis cake from a mile away. We had one for our wedding and I can assure you, they taste as good as they look. As if you thought that was even possible!
